Yeah, the largest flying bird in the world! The Wandering Albatross ... Something like a TWELVE FOOT wing span! Or so I was told watching that Art Wolfe DVD I bought!

Another Florida Take Off!

Hiking among the Southern Ocean rocks ...

A Burrowing Owl, down in Florida, ahh, where? Like, oh! Yeah! Cape Coral. You MUST get down there ... They are something! Just look for all the, ahh, little, "CROSSES" in the yards! Dead give away! They are just below them deep in the ground!

I'm serious! Look at this dolphin's back! Unreal. Boat Propellers! Really ... Or, maybe, ahh, Dolphin "Tattoos"! I have no clue ... But you know that already! WILD!

That Pink Flamingo's Beak. And EYE! And that Curve, of course. Love it.

Again, a resting seal down in Antarctica ... We must have woken it up!

I kid you not, I walked right past it, out in Arizona, then I heard THAT noise! I stopped, turned around, and yeah, there it was! I'm just lucky it hadn't warmed up too much just yet! I was out there walking around wearing SHORTS one early morning! Got my image, they got the heck out of there! All was right in my world that moment!

Ireland! I remember that trip like it was yesterday!

It wasn't.

It was 2009.

If I remember correctly (I do) ... Yeah. THAT summer! Drove around the island country for a week staying in those Bed & Breakfast Homes, you know, the ones with those "GREEN SHAMROCK SIGNS" in the windows! What a riot!

Then, even a couple of nights over in Northern Ireland as well, come on! We were THAT close! I had to experience that one ... That's the summer I went over to Germany to visit my old friend, that I first met in the Marine Corps, over there in Japan, back in 1976 ... Then, all those years later (2009), yeah, I flew over to visit him (he is the one person I knew that actually re-joined the Marines after getting out for a few years), and yeah,turned out he was in the hospital!

I then drove him and his son down to the Alps for a little R&R down in the Alps, you know, where Hitler, and all his buddies had their "Summer Homes", which later was taken over by The U.S. Army after the war!

Anyway ...

Long story short, he was sent home after neck surgery, and his sixteen year old son, who was also visiting his dad over that summer, and I took off for a MONTH long, little "VACATION" of our own, you know, driving around Europe in his rental car ... Even spent a couple of nights over in Morrocco!

No! really ...

What a summer that was!

My FAVORITE, ahh, RAM image! Like ever!

He was under a Highway Overpass, where I had to stop for some construction, out there in Western Canada, while on my return trip from Alaska ... And yeah, there he was! Up there, above me, under the bridge, in that GREAT LIGHT, and an even greater, ahh, SHADOW, right behind him!

Ahh, like the best Traffic Construction STOP, like,ahh, EVER!

No question.

Walking the same path, day in, and day out ... It gets worn down after awhile! Love it!

Sliding down a little slope on it's belly, and "ran into me", ahh, on my belly as well! Perfect. I promise I didn't hold him up that long!

There is that, ahh, "PATH" again! Walking back to the nest with FULL bellies for their babies!

Notice their, ahh, clean bellies! Yeah.

Now, Notice the belly of this one, you know, after sitting on the eggs all night/morning. Yeah, it is now his (or her) turn to go "fishing"! And get a BATH!

A real "Cotton Candy Thief", caught, ahh, "Pink Handed", over there in any given city in India, on any given day! Or night! Really.

Big Belly Penguin sliding on it's belly on the same "path" I was sliding on! Love it when that happens! I MOVED. Ahh, after I get my photo, of course!

That summer I drove out to spend some "QUALITY TIME" with my younger brother out there in California trying to beat his demons ...

It was an interesting summer, that was for sure! Drove out to California, spent a couple nights with him at this Religious, ahh, "MONK PLACE" (or whatever!), where he had stayed in order to beat the demons he had to deal with ...

Worked for awhile.

We did enjoy this elk moment, taken out there on The Pacific Coast, with that Storm Cloud rollin' by ...

My brother never got to see many elk down there in Florida, where he spent most of his fifty years ... Glad he had the chance to witness this one!

I've only seen ONE elk out along the Pacific Coast myself! Just saying ...
