Went for a little ride this morning, you know, for lunch, over in Taylorsville, haven't been over there in awhile! Very nice ... I used to get over there more often, but yeah, once I did get over there I came across a "new" example of "BRICK ART", that I didn't remember seeing before ... But it is me I'm talking about, so yeah, I took the time to capture it, you know, "just because I could!

Reminds me of my first pick-up truck I ever had, yeah, an old, '57 Dodge, that I bought up there in Mannsville, NY across the street from my Uncle's house ... Cool truck. A three-speed manual, ahh, on the column, real, ahh, OLD SCHOOL!

And yes, my friend Randy, got it running good, and with a nice, new paint job! It fit in well, you know, with me living up at my grandfather's old house up there in the woods! Both him, and my father, were born in the house, so yeah, it fit right in!

But no, mine was a different color! In fact, "colors", ahh, green cab with a black cab, or whatever you call it!

It was fun, and I had it a couple of years, until I let one of my friend's brother drive it once ... My bad. But I remember it today, so yeah, all is good. I won't even tell you how much I paid for it ... Oh, those were the days!

Remember, I drove motorcycles, up in Northern New York, and I'll just leave it at that!

I'm not, or ever was, a "real" car guy!

But, that said, I am a "BRICK ART" kind of guy, and yeah, I saw this image ...

And captured this image!

Works for me.

And I have lived here, worked here, and am now retired from, ahh, here, so yeah! I just had to take the time to "capture" this memory forever!

Not bad, for a kid that was born in California, graduated from high school, and college, in Up-State New York, and then moved down South to enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway, ahh, back in the day!

I should take this image, "Fix It" in Photoshop to match my old truck, but yeah, I'm not THAT skilled to make it look believable, so yeah ... There you go!

Just envision a nice, dark, "GREEN" cab, with that "BLACK" back-end thingy, and yeah, there you go!

Perfect.

Hey! I just enjoyed "getting out there", having a nice lunch, and enjoying the drive!

I think tomorrow it will be Morganton, yeah, haven't been over there that much recently, and yeah, maybe I'll find some "NEW" examples of "Brick Art" as well ... You never know!

See you OUT THERE!

Somewhere.

Someplace.

You never know.

I'll be the one, with a camera, taking pictures of, ahh, BRICKS!

Good luck with that!

See ya!
