Dogwood Blossom Special ...

Shot right here, out in my, what some people might refer to as a "Front Yard", but yeah, it's really just the grass between two apartment building's Parking Lots, which yeah, is "kind of like a "FRONY YARD", in this case.

Whatever.

Works for me!

And THIS DOGWOOD flower thingy!

That is what really matters, right?

Right.

THAT LIGHT!

And, yeah, that SHADOW I placed it in front of! You know, to "get that BLACK background"!

And that's all I'll say about THAT!

Just get out there, and find YOUR LIGHT, and see what SHADOW you can come up with for a BACKGROUND!

You never know ... Just have to WORK AT IT!

Come on! It might only be a step or two in any direction, as it was in this case!

You can do it!

That is what RULE NUMBER ONE is all about!

Work at it.

It has kept me busy over the years! And yes, I'm still trying to make it work! Just like everyone else!

It is all part of THE GAME we play, each and every time we PUSH THAT BUTTON!

And yes, I checked ... get this, only a -0.3 "Exposure Bias" ... You know, my NORMAL setting that I just leave on all my cameras, like, ahh, ALL THE TIME!

You know, THE GAME I PLAY, when I get a shot that I think will be a KEEPER!
