I kid you not.

I was on a trip, I don't remember when, or where, but yeah, I do remember STOPPING, and making the GREAT decision to, you know, take a couple of pictures, of what was like, RIGHT OUT THERE in front of me at the time!

Or to one side of me, I can't remember THAT either!

Doesn't matter.

In fact, I'm not even going to look (I thought of it!) at the, you know, DATA!

I'm going to say right here and now, that yeah, I KNOW I set my little, "compensation button" to some kind of MINUS setting!

No doubt.

Nope! Not even going to LOOK!

And again, it doesn't matter!

I mean, LOOK at the two images!

Whatever the settings were, they worked, so yeah, I'm good. I'll live with the results!

And since I just took the images off the DVD TODAY, yeah, I also know that I did NOT DO ANYTHING to them except ...

Re-Size them.

Yeah, I "MADE THEM SMALLER" as far as how many "dots per inch" they have to "look OK" on this computer screen you are looking at. Yeah, my camera took them at 300 d.p.i. (dots per inch), but the computer screens only need 72 d.p.i., so yeah, I change them to 96 d.p.i. because I so anal about things, that it's hard for me to accept, you know, that "BIGGER ISN'T BETTER"!

But that's just me.

Just sayin' ... So yeah, I still use the "BIGGER NUMBER" on this matter.

OLD SCHOOL, you know, because I'm old.

Works for me.

But yeah, it is "A REAL THING", and it's YOUR choice!

The "wider" view, you know, with the trees there at the bottom ...

And then (you know me!) the "tighter" view, you know, just because I could.

And that's all I'll say about that!

Seemed like the right thing to do at the time! But yes, if you know me, and how I shoot, you also know that I took way more than just TWO shots of this, right?

Yeah.

I can't remember just how many shots I took that day, and time, but yeah ... It is safe to say that I took more than TWO.

Period.

And yes! I also KNOW I did a little "MINUS, MINUS, MINUS" action at that time as well ...

That's what I do.

Especially in a situation like THIS! Come on!

Even if it is not the "CORRECT" exposure, again, who gives a CRAP?

I was the artist, I MADE THEM my own. PERIOD.

Yeah, you can do that! It's OK.

I have a Master's Degree in Photography, I know.

And I went to a REAL ART college!

Again, I know.

And there you go!

Get out there, anywhere, and just MAKE YOUR ART!

Tell them I sent you.

Good luck with that.

I just know I've had a lot of FUN out there over the years, and I know YOU can too!

Trust me.

See ya out there, I hope!

Just remember, LOOK AT THE LIGHT, and yeah, then just PLAY, PLAY, PLAY!

True, some people might think of that as WORK, WORK, WORK, but, come on!

Really?

Pushing a button? Spinning some little, wheel thing?

Too easy.

Just as long as YOU are having FUN, and like the results, yeah! It's all PLAY, PLAY, PLAY to me!

Like I like to say (and write) ...

Works for me.
